Mykonos is a Greek island that spans an area of approximately 86 km squared. This island is mainly comprised of granite and relies heavily on the desalination of sea water in order to supply the small island's population with drinkable water. In Greek mythology, Mykonos was the battle ground in which Zeus fought the Titans. The island was also named in honor of Apollo's grandson Mykons....

ALSO, "Myknonos" is an incredible song by the indie folk rock band Fleet Foxes. Interpreted in many different ways, the song has an incredible feel with many different patterns of rhyme. It is very catchy and shows the band's strength in its vocal harmonies. Check out the song here:

Started by Robin Pecknold and Skyler Skjelset in 2006, Fleet Foxes are from Portland, Oregon. They are considered to be indie folk as well as Baroque pop. They have released two major albums so far in their young existence: Fleet Foxes (2008) and Helplessness Blues (2011).
